…today I woke up at 3:45am to get my work out in.
Now, I am still on the fence if this is considered dedication or completely insane. I am working off site today tabling at planned giving day conference so I had to get here at 7am to set up. I knew that after I get done here at 5pm, Jamie and are meeting his family at a local Mexican restaurant because his uncle will be arriving from Texas. This can only means that large amounts of beer (and/or margaritas) and yummy food will be consumed and since I wouldn’t be able to work out after work…I decided that I’d get up early.
Now, I love working out in the mornings. I like feeling accomplished, motivated and it gets my day going. Plus, breakfast is my favorite meal and nothing beats having a great breakfast right after a hard-core work out session. I even made my french toast again!
And honestly, above graphic depicts another reason why I like getting up early. It’s maybe the only time during the day where it’s just me. I can just decided what I want to do…whether it’s working out, folding that last bit of laundry or watching the local morning news. For those couple of hours, all I have to worry about is me!
